I’ve been waiting a long time for this gem to open! Finally when they did, I was so excited to go! It took few months to find a reservation, but the wait was worth it!
I love everything about this place. From the decor, the food and the friendly service!(Only one time I’ve been very disappointed with the service at lunch time! But let’s forget about this one!)
I like this place so much I’ve already eaten there 4 times. Great for a romantic dinner, but also perfect for a friend’s night out.
If you ask me for the perfect “New Yorker spot”, that’s the place to be at the moment!
To fully enjoy your experience, I will recommend to arrive a little before your reservation. To start your evening, enjoy one of their cocktails at the bar. (You will be standing though, as the seats at the bar are for dinner service)
For dinnertime, I will recommend to do everything family style! Believe me, so much dishes you want to try! From the gruyere fritters, homemade bread, hummus, cappellacci, the AMAZING short rib (I could go on and on…), everything is perfectly made! No surprise with the talented Chef, James Kent. Make sure you have space for dessert and try their sticky toffee pudding (for 2!)
I can’t wait to go back, and try their new dishes…
